In a recent post I stated that ND was not going to allow students to wear lei's in support of a visiting recruit by providing a letter sent by the University.
They had to write it. The lei's are still on. The NCAA can't do anything about it if ND doesn't sanction the event.
If you are going to the game, I think you will be able to find them at Gate E, or bring your own.
This could be a great show of support. 10,000 + wearing lei's for a football game in the middle of November in South Bend. It's just too bad that there is not a forecast of snow for Saturday. How cool would that look?! I'm starting to regret turning down tickets 4 different times for the game. If you go, send me some pics and I will post them here.

Subway, my wife and I have two tickets we cannot use. I don't want to put them in the hands of someone who might be disrepectful to ND, but I would like to know if you are are interested.
Can you get back with me if you are interested? We can overnight them to you.
I don't want to identify myself, so I hope you can come back if interested.
Thanks for the offer, but the problem is actually MY wife. lol
She's 6 months pregnant and I don't want her out in the cold. I guess I could leave her at home and take a buddy, but like I said... she's pregnant.
Thanks for the offer though.
Come on Subway...The part of the story I didn't like is that you gave up for a little weather. You and your wife have a responsibility...You can't just quit because it gets cold....take the tickets, go to the stadium and get leid!
I wanted to go BECAUSE of the weather. i love cold weather games and even more so if snow is involved.
It's more of a wife thing as I stated earlier.
Thanks for the pep talk though!
it's been so long, i forget what it's like to get leid
You must be married.
