I made this spreadsheet about Notre Dame's opponents in 2008 and 2009. You know, just in case you weren't sure.

Start of 2009= 7 Bowl teams
Start of 2008= 6 Bowl teams

However, ND will have 7 home games, 1 neutral, and 4 away games in 2008 with Michigan and Pitt looking like the toughest away games.

This is looking like 2005 more and more. The only difference, is that ND could come into 2009 with a much better defense and with a bowl victory.
