The MVP's & The General

Armando Allen

Robert Blanton

Coach Weis

You can see more highlights and interviews at UND.com... HERE.

I'll have my own thoughts on the game and the gameday experience in a day or so. I just need a little more time to let this stuff marinate- it's not like I don't have some time between now and the Nevada game. Don't worry though- it will be up soon.

Is there any video anywhere of the duck duck goose?

I saw it on Rivals, but you need a membership to view it. I'm not sure if it is anywhere else.

Is everyone drinking the coolaid? The expectations are always great during the spring (unless it's 2009 and you live in Ann Arbor). Don't by your BCS Championship tix yet. I don't want to lose any players at the end of this quarter or during summer school (see Walls). I still don't understand how we didn't man handle the Syracuse DL last year.

Valpodoc- I have gone on record as saying i don't put a lot of stock on comparing one year to another- however... The 2004 and 2008 teams mirror each other in many, many ways. So much so, that I am anticipating a season much like 2005 in 2009. There are of course, different variables, but offensively we should be on the same level and defensively we have the potential to be A LOT better than 2005. The schedule is easier and it is hard to not forecast a season with a 10-2 record or better.

Syracuse was an abomination that is hard to define. One factor was that this team lacked proper motivation. It just goes to show that on any given Saturday...

The first 3 games will tell the whole story for what should come in 2009. We will just have to wait for validation or destruction.

Isn't it time to bury last season? Let's look forward to September and those first three games. We also need to hope that the injury problem doesn't take away a promising season.

I take a break from Irish football for a while and BAM.......there goes the neighborhood! Just as I think of a clever response in support of my pal, the post is removed.
