The Irish landed their 12th verbal commit. Lane Clelland is jumping on board with a lot of enthusiasm. The 6'5" 265 pound tackle chose the Irish over Florida, Florida State,Michigan, Maryland, and a host of other schools. The announcement came as a surprise to many, as Clelland has not been a hot topic for discussion amongst Irish fans. This, in retrospect, is a HUGE commit for ND. The Fighting Irish have been whiffing on quite a few prospects on the offensive line as of late. This can add to the momentum that can only be described as Longhornesque.
